Suggestions for use: Use this resource as a start to oral language lessons. The pictures of the birds are all mixed up making the children look closely to match colouring, size etc. Ask the children to describe what they are looking at, to explain how they know two pictures match etc. Give one child the IWB pen and ask the other to direct the child to match the pictures. The child give directions should use descriptive and instuctive language to help the other follow directions.
