Reading Rockets has researched a range of literacy apps and is a fantastic bank of resources for anyone looking for apps for this purpose. This link is specifically for comprehension apps which I used on their recommendations. They provide practice with specific comprehension skills, including sequencing, differentiating between fact and opinion, developing word awareness (through antonyms, synonyms, and homophones), as well as several mind mapping apps.
