Open library is a website that allows you to borrow ebooks for a limited time. It has picture books, novels and factual books. I have found it very useful in the classroom for the whiteboard instead of using the visualiser.

Help My Kid Learn, was developed by the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), as part of the national strategy ‘Literacy and Numeracy for Learning and Life’ (DES 2011).
It is is a simple website that brings together relevant information for parents, teachers and the wider community to support children’s literacy and numeracy development.
The website provides fun activities to do with children in order to develop their literacy and numeracy.
