It is a story about a cat and a dog falling in love, the cat not looking when crossing the road and being hit by the car and finally about how everyone left their differences behind and became friends. This lesson could be a good place to start when explaining adjectives to your class. It could also be used to assess the classes knowledge of adjectives. You are asked to give each child a chocolate each, after tasting they must write down adjectives to describe the chocolate they tasted. Each child reads their adjectives and then the rest of the class must guess which one they had. This could be developed further where one adjective must be used to describe the sense for example how the chocolate tasted, smelled, looked and felt.
